Q: Since ToolTrack MES is designed for SMB, will we have to move to a "big boy" MES in a few years?

A: Nope.

While ToolTrack MES was designed to make sure SMB isn't left behind,
it can easily scale to high-volume automation.
Unlike those "big boy" MES products using legacy architecture, ToolTrack MES merges the traditionally segregated database and application layers, resulting in exceptional performance. With no inherent communication delay between components, the system scales seamlessly with the IT infrastructure and server hardware. While these considerations may not be relevant for a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) implementation, they offer reassurance for on-premise deployments. Notably, there's no need for separate servers to operate a single software solution.

In sophisticated manufacturing settings, ToolTrack MES offers comprehensive support for RESTful web services, enabling seamless integration with any external system, whether in-house or commercial. Our platform features pre-configured Application Program Interfaces (APIs) for secure data querying, facilitating integration with ERP/MRP/accounting systems. Additionally, it facilitates communication with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) middleware, allowing interaction with equipment PLCs for automated material handling and remote processing.

If you have a special use case that requires a customized API, we can build that as well for much less than you'd expect.
